Department of Chemistry, Physics, Computational Finance, and Mathematics, NEDUET, is excited to announce the 1st NED Science Hackathon, an extraordinary event aimed at undergraduate students from universities far and wide. Registered participants will be allotted a specific timeframe to address undergraduate-level challenges spanning the domains of Chemistry, Physics, Finance, and Mathematics. Students have the flexibility to collaborate either individually or in teams of up to three members. Each project submission will undergo evaluation by experienced judges with the requisite expertise to assess the proposed solutions. Cash prizes and certificates will be conferred upon the top two solutions in each discipline, recognizing exceptional accomplishments in problem-solving and innovation. Through this event, we aim to accomplish several vital goals:

  • We aspire to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, where students from diverse academic backgrounds can come together to exchange ideas and bridge the gaps between their respective fields.
  • Our mission is to cultivate a problem-solving mindset and encourage participants to think critically and creatively while developing innovative solutions that positively impact society and finance.
  • The Hackathon serves as an educational platform, offering participants the opportunity to enhance their technical and analytical skills while gaining hands-on experience in practical applications.
  • We intend to connect students with mentors, industry experts, and potential employers, creating networking opportunities to help shape their careers.
  • Through this event, we aim to foster a sense of community among participants, inspiring lifelong connections and friendships that transcend institutional boundaries.
